Drone by Dro LLC is an FAA Part 107–licensed aerial studio staffed by D.R.O. — Dynamic Radius Operators — specializing in complex airspace environments, aerial photography, marketing videos, indoor drone flythroughs, and advanced data gathering.
We're recognized statewide. We've delivered work across 8 states and completed 100+ FAA-approved flights in restricted zones. Today we're a leading drone service provider in Maryland and Virginia.

Our story
From a $50 toy to D.R.O.
My interest in aerial tech started in 2017 with a $50 toy drone. Paired with a long-standing love of videography, it turned into a daily obsession exploring the DMV from above.
During the pandemic, after a layoff, I took the leap — left college, used the last of my unemployment as startup capital, and launched a certified drone service company in late 2020. Eight years of customer-service experience and brand-management chops helped turn the idea into a company.
